Bicker, New Officers, Valentine’s Semis and 500 Ivy League Titles!

Hello Gunners!

The past few weeks have been such an exciting time for the club! We welcomed 89 awesome new members, voted on the new officers, had a wonderful time at Valentine’s semis, and celebrated Princeton Athletics’ achievement of reaching 500 Ivy League titles.

Bicker

Cannon had a lively three days of bicker and after a lot of hard work led by bicker chair Jessie Harris and the rest of the club, we have successfully welcomed Cannon’s class of 2022! We have 89 new members that will certainly carry on the Cannon legacy and ensure that Cannon stays the best club on the street.

2020 Officers

The 2019 officers are officially retired and we are so thankful for the leadership, fun, and friendship they have provided all of us. One week ago, the club held elections to decide on the new officers and after many great speeches, the results are in!

We are so excited to see what the new officers will bring to the club!

Valentine’s Semis

There was no better way to welcome our new members than by having a Valentine’s semiformal to show our Gunner love! Our staff put together a wonderful evening with tasty food, a classy pianist, and a live band downstairs.

Here are just a few photos from our Valentine’s semi, Gunner love was definitely in the air!

500 Ivy League Titles for Princeton Athletics

Princeton is the first Ivy to reach 500 titles and we are so proud of the many Gunners that have contributed to this feat! Our very own new Gunner, Travis Stefanik clinched the wrestling team’s win over Cornell to not only guarantee the 500th Ivy League championship, but to also secure Princeton’s first Ivy League title since 1986. Quincy Wolf and Matt Kolodzik were also huge contributors to this historic moment for wrestling. From earlier this fall, we also give our congratulations to the Women’s volleyball team and Women’s Field Hockey teams who also helped Princeton to its 500th title. Our volleyball gunners are truly amazing, Maggie O’Connell, Jessie Harris, and Clare Lenihan were named First Team All-Ivy, and Cameron Dames (Defensive Player of the Year), Devon Peterkin and Tash Skov were named Second Team All-Ivy. In Field Hockey, our very own Grace Baylis led the team from their Ivy League championship all the way to the National Championship! Expect big things coming up from our Gunners, we are not done yet and there are certainly more Ivy League titles on their way.
