Good afternoon Gunners!
This past week the majority of campus was able to enjoy some time away from campus during our fall break. I hope everyone has come back feeling refreshed and ready to attack the rest of the semester!
Before we left campus last week, current students were able to celebrate the football team and the University with alumni at the Homecoming event. The football team took on Harvard at home in front of a large crowd, and was able to pull off a great 30-24 win. The team improved to 6-0 and Princeton fans were able to celebrate all across campus. It was great to see countless classes of Cannon Dial Elm alumni stop by the club throughout the day, and reminisce on the many memories made here.
Junior member Jeremiah Tyler took home the Ivy League Defensive Player of the Week award after his performance in the Harvard game, with 13 tackles and an interception.
This past Saturday the football team improved to 7-0 with a win on the road against Cornell, remaining one of the two unbeaten teams in the Ivy League alongside Dartmouth. The two undefeated teams come head to head this weekend in a grand celebration at Yankee Stadium in New York, where the Tigers look to become the sole undefeated team in the league. The game starts at 3:30 PM.
