Cannon Alumnus injured in Afghanistan

Victor Prato, a 2015 graduate of Princeton University and a Cannon alumnus was seriously injured while on patrol in Kandahar, Afghanistan on November 13th. His injury was sustained during his first week in Afghanistan where he was serving is an engineering officer and lead of his platoon. A suicide bomber attacked his envoy leaving him and three others seriously injured. Lt. Prato and the others were quick airlifted to Bragam, Afghanistan where he quickly entered surgery. Victor is recovering in Walter Reed’s Surgical Intensive Care Unit located in Bethesda, Maryland.

We have heard from another Cannon alumnus and close friend of Victor’s, that him and his family are in good spirits. Please keep Victor in your thoughts and prayers. We are thankful for his service and lucky to have him and others like him serving our nation.
