Eligibility

Students are eligible to join the Cannon Dial Elm Club in the spring of sophomore year. Throughout the year, we will host events for students to visit our club and meet our members.

Admission

Our club, like our fellow bicker eating clubs, hosts admissions at the end of January in the period called “Street Week.” Sophomores sign up on the Interclub (ICC) website to receive invitations to visit the clubs during the week. Cannon Dial Elm is a selective club, meaning that we conduct an admission process called “bicker” in which students apply for membership, and current members select new members.

Financial Assistance

Cannon is seeking members who will advance its goals of diversity, inclusiveness and a lifelong commitment to and engagement with the club, regardless of a student’s financial circumstances. Accordingly, a member who experiences a shortfall in their ability to meet their financial obligation to the club may be able to receive financial aid through the Higgins Memorial Fund. Assistance is not guaranteed, and will be determined on a case-by-case basis through a discreet, formal application process.
