CDE Fall Athlete Spotlights

Fall has been full of action for our Princeton athletes, and Cannon Dial Elm is here to celebrate their achievements. From record-breaking performances to big wins on the field, our members have been busy representing Princeton with pride.

  1. 🏑 Field Hockey – Beth Yeager Leads the Charge

Our very own Beth Yeager, captain of the women’s field hockey team, continues to impress. Fresh off her Team USA appearance this summer, Beth has been instrumental in Princeton’s strong start to the season.

2. 🏃‍♀️ Cross Country – Tigers on the Move

It’s been a great fall for Princeton Cross Country. Our CDE runners have been putting in strong performances across the Ivy League.

Notable Results: Miles Hogan top-20 finish in the Gans Creek Classic

What’s Next: Bethlehem, Pa. for the Paul Short Run on October 3rd.

3. 🏈 Football – A Big Win for the Tigers 38-28

Princeton Football grabbed a big win against Lafayette last weekend, with the defense holding strong and the offense putting up points.

Game Ball Performance: Starting QB Blaine Hipa (CDE ’26)

4. 🏒 Hockey – Excitement for Hobey Baker Upgrades

Both Men’s and Women’s Hockey are gearing up for their seasons and are thrilled about the upgrades coming to Hobey Baker Rink. Expect more energy, more fans, and more Tiger wins this winter.

Women’s Season Opener: UCONN (away) on October 17th

5. 🏆 Spotlight – Sydney Draper

Sydney Draper, last year’s Ivy League Rookie of the Year, is picking up right where she left off. She currently holds the record for most assists by by any player in a three set match this season (52 Assists)! and continues to be a major force for Princeton.

Fall is off to a roaring start, and we couldn’t be prouder of our CDE athletes. Let’s keep showing up, cheering loud, and supporting our teammates as they dominate the Ivy League this season.
