Spring Semester has Sprung!

SO many new members, a new officer corps, and of course some more Semi-Formals 🙂

I am Mia Coene, your new Cannon VP. I couldn’t be more excited to take on this role with the best club on the street and with the best group of officers. We have some BIG shoes to fill from all past officers to keep this club going 🙂 so let’s get started!

New Member Initiations and LOTS of Bicker!

Cannon has welcomed about 100 baby Gunners to the club! This year marked one of the largest bicker classes yet, and it couldn’t be more exciting. Among these 100 new members, we’ve added to our athletic team affiliations such as Football, Men’s and Women’s Ice Hockey, and Men’s and Women’s Basketball (just to name a few). Importantly, we’ve bolstered some affiliations that were lacking in numbers, including Men’s Lacrosse, Fencing, and Field Hockey. Not only have we increased our athlete count, but we’ve also gained many more members with a vast array of talents and hobbies. Our traditional Bicker process was a complete success, featuring fun activities like jousting, karaoke, and the hilarious “chubby bunny” challenge (if you’re unfamiliar, look it up—it’s hysterical). Following the hectic week of Bicker and initiations, we held New Officer Elections. To learn more about our new officers, their majors, and their campus affiliations, head over to our “About” page. Other News…

Just to keep everyone informed about all things happening at Cannon, another fun tradition that takes place in February every year is the Cannon Semis Proposal. During this event, a new sophomore member has to ask a current member of Cannon to the Valentine’s Day Semi. Needless to say, the new members really impressed everyone this year!

Last Remarks…

The last items on my agenda are twofold. Firstly, because this club truly revolves around food, I thought I would share the newest Cannon menu with everyone, as it is incredible and Bill has worked so hard to curate it perfectly. My personal favorites are the Chicken Shawarma Bowl and the Princeton, which is the best grilled cheese I’ve had in a long time! Lastly, this photo of Bill and Adell is just too good not to share.
